The city is important trade port on the Baltic Sea, situated near the mouth of the River Trave. The city is really impressive with nice architecture design and very interesting sightseeings and tour destinations in it. The city is visited by many tourists every year, who are attracted by the beautiful and spirit of Luebeck. Its surrounded by canals and red brick buildings of the Altstadt is immersed in the rich medieval history of the town. Situated between the the walls of defense facilities, the gates and the moat, the old town of Luebeck is so architecturally and historically significant, that the guests cannot miss the beauty of the city. Definitely the tourists are attracted by the large number of historical building, a lot of modern entertainments, the good restaurants and the quality accommodations, which Luebeck owns. Among its sightseeings are the gate Holstentor, the church Marienkirche and the Viking museum. Also the city has really beautiful old barns along the river and will give meet you with the beautiful atmosphere of the city.
